We freaking hate cheaters. They can take a really tense online game and make it absolutely unplayable with their dirty tactics. In fact we’ve stopped playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 simply because it was overrun by people who felt the need to rely on wall hacks and aim-bots. Cheating isn’t really uncommon in today’s day and age, but Rockstar plan on dealing with such cheaters in a rather unique and fitting manner. According to Rockstar, if any player is found cheating/hacking in Max Payne 3’s multiplayer, they will be relegated to the “Cheater’s Pool”, a lobby filled with cheaters/hackers. If these cheaters change their ways, they’ll be allowed to join regular multiplayer matches once again. If not, they will permanently be locked to the Cheater’s Pool. So if you see anyone using invincibility hacks, infinite adrenaline or score cheating , simply mail Rockstar at maxpayne3.banhammer@rockstargames.com and include the
following details:
- Platform (PC, PS3 or Xbox 360)
- Cheater’s Gamertag / ID
- Description of the violation
- Concrete evidence if possible (such as a video or a screenshot)Please do not misuse this option though, by reporting people you just don’t like or people who are better than you.
